"The Lift Tower" was inspired by one of the original "K-Chair" towers that serviced Killington peak from the 1960s into the late 1970s. Legend has it that on the coldest days of the year wool blankets were given out to skiers who risked the windy ride to the peak. Since 1979, The Lift Tower has proudly stood in front of our shop, First Stop Board Barn, in Killington, Vermont.
