The Salomon 2012 is a functional park and pipe ski with tip and tail rocker (a.k.a. twin rocker). The 2012 has a sandwich-style construction that is light, nimble, and lightning fast edge to edge. Thanks to equal tip and tail rocker (550/550) with camber underfoot, this ski is extremely balanced and poppy. The guts are made of a full wood core with an Elastomer layer (or pulse pad) along the full length of the edge giving it outstanding dampening that results in a smoother ride. Adding to the 2012’s bomber construction is full edge reinforcement due to a fiber that sits under the edge to add stiffness and durability—a must when nose-pressing boxes.

The Salomon 2012 features twin rocker (both in the tip and tail) making this ski extremely quick from edge-to-edge and great in soft snow. Whether you're ripping bumps down the fall-line or snaking in and out of the trees this ski will be the quickest turning twin tip on the hill. It took me a few runs to find the sweet spot on the 2012 but once I got it dialed in I was hooked.
